I have been receiving phone calls and Emails from upcoming photographers from various cities including Delhi to learn photography. Many have personally come to meet me from far and wide. There are many who have been doing outdoor work but are keen to learn fashion photography and studio lighting. I had approached by studio owners in small towns who want to improve their work and also equip themselves with techniques to be handle the local work in a professional way.

It was really a tough call for me each time when wanna be photographers contacted me or came to meet me in person. I have always pondered how best to help them as on individual basis, that is one to one, the costs were very high. After lots of thoughts I have decided to have a schedule by dates for regular workshops on photography for novices, fashion-model photography, portraiture and product / table top photography.

My target for a workshop's participants number is maximum EIGHT (8) and minimum FOUR (4). With a larger number in one session the whole objective will be lost of active participation of each participant of a workshop. Minimum number of the participants will ensure my covering the costs of a model and makeup artist.

Learn to use your camera

Exclusively for the novices, this one day workshop, an indoor session, will introduce the various functions of the camera. Guidance to getting the best from the compact cameras to get good pictures. Camera care, some tips about compositions and clarifying some myths.

The participants will be askeddiscussed.

There will be no dedicated Q&A session, participants are encouraged to ask or seek clarifications during any part of the workshop for easy learning

to go out in the locality to quickly photograph some pictures in a given time and will then be reviewed and .

Please note that this is for raw beginners / pure novices.

Each Participant is required to bring a working Digital Compact / DSLR / SLR camera. If you have a portable flash unit and want to understand please bring along. The equipment one brings should be in proper working condition with back up spare batteries, memory cards, films, etc. Do carry the manuals of the cameras as to be honest I am not a know-all of each camera make available in the market.

There will be No Sharing of the Camera amongst the participants. It is mandatory for the participants to come with the required equipment mentioned otherwise they will not be permitted to participate in the workshop. Their fees shall stand forfeited.

Workshop Calendar

The workshop will be held if there are minimum FOUR (4) registered (paid) members, otherwise it will be postponed with an advanced notice to the next date.

Assignments dates are confirmed on receipt of 60% of advance of the agreed price of the project and balance payment on completion of the assignment.
Models, Make-up artist, Stylists or any outside service providers have to be paid either at the start of the shoot or at the end of the shoot.
All travel, transportation, boarding and lodging including food are to be fully arranged and paid for on Location / Outstation shoots for the crew members in the project.
Companies should include the above mentioned terms and conditions while issuing their purchase order / letter of confirmation.
